Riles, George T., 79, of Brandon, passed away on July 16, 2010. George was a highly decorated veteran who retired as an MSG-E8 from the United States Army, serving in the Korean War and the Vietnam War. He was a Shriner, a 32º Scottish Rite Mason and a Master Mason. George was an avid fisherman who had fished in many different parts of the world. He is preceded in death by his father, Clarence R. Riles. George is survived by his loving family, wife of 42 years, Phuong; children, Patrick, Trinh, Lan, Dung, Michelle, and Tommy; mother, Gladys Camp Riles; brother, Clifford (Sue) Riles; sister, Sherry (Dallas) Lambert; the families of Tam Bui-Thi Sanh and Thu-Long; seven grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be a gathering of family and friends on Thursday, July 22, 2010 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home with a funeral service at 6:30 pm. George will be interred at Serenity Meadows Memorial Park on Friday, July 23, 2010 at 1:00 pm.
